The average U.S. family spends about $1,900 a year on home utility bills. Alarmingly, much of the energy purchased is wasted. Additionally, in order to produce the electricity used by a single home, more carbon dioxide is put into the air than that from two average cars. So what can you do about it? Thankfully when it comes to saving energy, sometimes doing just a little adds up to a lot. Focusing on increasing overall energy-effeciency awareness is the best place to start.
